• The NFPA has identified the various FR hazardous risk category levels, which range from PPE 1 (which is low risk and requires AR clothing with a minimum arc rating of 4), up to PPE 4 (which is high risk and requires AR clothing with a minimum arc rating of 40). Each level, 1-4, is rated at a certain amount of flame resistance measured in cal/cm2.

Built from a durable Lyocell-Modacrylic-Aramid blend, it meets ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 Type R Class 3 standards and performs to key safety certifications including NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112/2113, and CSA Z96. With an ATPV rating of 9.1 cal/cm² (HRC Cat 2), this vest is designed for workers who require high visibility, mobility, and reliable arc-flash protection during high-task operations.
