  • The NFPA has identified the various FR hazardous risk category levels, which range from PPE 1 (which is low risk and requires AR clothing with a minimum arc rating of 4), up to PPE 4 (which is high risk and requires AR clothing with a minimum arc rating of 40). Each level, 1-4, is rated at a certain amount of flame resistance measured in cal/cm2.

Product Description

This FR Hoodie provides next-to-skin comfort and reliable flame-resistant protection for workers in hazardous environments. Constructed from 12 oz. FR fleece knit and sewn with aramid high-tenacity FR thread, it offers breathability and warmth, making it ideal for daily wear or layering under arc flash suits and coveralls. Rated with an ATPV of 23.3 cal/cm² and compliant with PPE2, NFPA 2112-2023, ASTM F1506, and NFPA 70E, it ensures dependable protection against electrical and flame hazards. The hoodie features an adjustable FR drawstring hood with interlock lining, FR rib knit cuffs and waistband, a one-way #5 resin zipper on aramid tape, and two slash patch pockets at the waist for convenience.
